Located in North Duncan, at 6457 Norcross Road, is the Cowichan Valley Best Western Inn, which offers centrally located lodgings, with some accessibility features for folks with disabilities.

The Inn offers plenty of accessible parking spots, and there is a level covered area at the front entrance to the hotel, with a picnic area located close by, and a pool up a few steps. There are automatic sliding doors into the lobby, and beyond to the reception area. As you approach the front desk there is a cozy visiting area with a couch, several chairs, and a fireplace.

The reception staff are warm and welcoming and I found them to be very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The rooms are accessed by a gently sloping ramp. Once in the room, it is set up in a standard way but unfortunately the bathroom is not accessible for wheelchair/scooter users as it is extremely small. The shower is not roll in.

There are a wide range of things to do in the popular Cowichan Valley that make it a great destination, whether that means going for a winery tour, shopping, or checking out artisan galleries to name just a few. The Cowichan Valley Best Western Inn is a great home base for discovering all there is to see and explore.
