In the Cowichan Valley there are two all year round farmers markets

Farm markets

In a region known for its outstanding produce and artisanal creations, it’s not surprising that we have more than a few farmers markets. In fact, there are more than half a dozen markets found in every community around the region and two permanent year round markets! The biggest of these is the Duncan Farmers Market. Spread out over several city blocks in downtown Duncan, it subscribes to a “you make it, you bake it, you grow it, you sell it” philosophy. Here, you’ll find the freshest local fruits, vegetables, baking, jams and jellies, honey, crafts, clothing, pet treats and more! It’s on every Saturday and plenty of parking is available.
