47th Annual Brentwood International High School Rowing Regatta
April 28, 2017 - April 30, 2017
Starting with humble roots in 1970, the Brentwood Regatta has grown to be the
largest single-school hosted event in North America. This international event
attracts teams from all over Canada and the United States and in the past included
crews from Europe, Asia, Mexico, and Australia. In 2016, there were in excess of
4,000 people in attendance with over 1,700 athletes and coaches, and over 500
volunteers.
The regatta is more than just rowing. It is a whole school event, with live music, DJs,
a student run food fair with 7 locations, local vendors and an arts show on the
Saturday. All this showcases student-athletes in world-class racing throughout 196
races, down the 1,500 metre course every 7 minutes for 24 hours over 3 days!
