So you want to take a selfie? In this online class, ceramic artist Lee Stead will walk you through every step as you create a fun and surprising standing replica of yourself from the shoulders up. Hair, maybe a hat or glasses, a cat curled around your shoulders, wings, or anything that says “this is me!” can be added. Clay and firing is included and you can paint the finished project at your leisure after the firing. No previous experience with clay necessary. For ages 10 years and up.

Participants will need to pick up the clay on February 11 from  the Ladysmith Waterfront Gallery: 444 Parkhill Terrace in Ladysmith, build their selfies together at home over Zoom, then snap their creations back to the gallery to be fired by the instructor.
