Cowichan Green Community (CGC) has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. CGC’s goal this year is to raise $5,000 to go towards their many FREE programs including public cooking classes, upcycling workshops, food preservation parties, KinPark and Seed Incubator Farm activities and our yearly Cowichan food map. CGC is also looking for volunteers.
