Accessibility

The property and buildings, including the restaurant, are wheelchair friendly and barrier-free, for the most part. My scooter could access the indoor section of the cafe, and the many tables in the covered porch area, but not the lower outdoor seating. The bathroom is accessible for me and my compact scooter, but some may find it a little snug. There is a baby change table in the accessible restroom as well. Much of Merridale’s grounds are paved and level, and designated accessible parking is located on the right hand side shortly after you drive through the entrance. (Be sure to go past the first driveway, which is a residence).
