The Masthead Restaurant

Delicious seasonal menu with a cozy, romantic atmosphere in Cowichan Bay.

Introduction

The Masthead building figures prominently in the history of Cowichan Bay. Built in 1863 as The Columbia Hotel, it replaced the old John Bull Inn across the causeway where the pub is now located.

Today you’ll find elegant and comfortable fine dining, with a focus on locally-sourced ingredients and foods, and a selection of craft beverages. Gaze out over the float homes and tranquil waters of the marina, or join us for a cocktail at our classic bar.

Reservations are recommended.
