This trail winds 5.8 kilometers along both sides of Holland Creek. The trail appeals to outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Highlights include Crystal Falls and the Colliery Dams. Salmon spawning occurs every fall.
The trail is wheelchair accessible with assistance from the Methuen / 6th Avenue entrance west to the Upper Colliery dam. Access is from Dogwood Drive, 6th Avenue & Methuen (location of the Kinsmen Shelter and washroom), Davis Road Park, or Mackie Road.
