En Plein Air Drawing and Painting

July 4 @ 5:30 pm - July 22 @ 1:00 pm
$190 – $260
Start up in studio July 4th, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm, on location July 8, 15, 22, 10 am-1 pm

Day 1: Learn how light affects seeing, how to use perspective and colour and get ready for the outdoor sessions.

Day 2-4: Meet at different locations to gain practical experience ‘en plein air.’ Students will learn how to play with the ever changing conditions. Plein air artists challenge themselves to complete a painting in each sitting. You may find however that painting in nature initiates a deeper awareness of place, where the process becomes more important than the outcome. Materials list will be sent upon registration
