Over four weeks, enjoy making beautiful letters that will enhance any card, document, or art piece. Using a fine liner, we will learn several distinctive monoline alphabets that are easy to make and look great on the page. As well, we will explore a few large, playful alphabets that will make your work most appealing. Enjoy some contemporary lettering in a relaxed atmosphere! These classes take place on Zoom and give participants a chance to learn new skills but also have a place to socialize in a safe environment.

Recommended Materials List (Can be purchased from Staples, Monks, VIU Bookstore, or any art supply store):
– HB pencil
– eraser
– ruler
– waterproof fine liner pen (Uniball or Micro Pen are good brands)
– broad-edge pen (Zig double-ended felt is good; can discuss with instructor at first session)
– paper (20-lb copy paper or heavier)
